Low coolant lightGTPSPEED 10-15-2008, 07:46 AM ok, I am starting to think this will never go away. I replaced the low collent sensor+ cleaned the hole I did a complete coolent flush. I bled all the air out of the system. checked coolent level which seems fine. Anyone have any other idea's to what I can do next besides stabbing a screwdriver through the light on my dash? If you refer to the OPs first post he stated the low coolant sensor was replaced. I replaced the low collent sensor+ cleaned the hole Also, you do not need to remove the battery to replace it. Just for reference gentlemen you will have 12 volts at ignition to on at the sensor electrical connector. There are two wires. Black/white which is chassis ground and a yellow/black which is the center pin of the electrical connector. The yellow/black wire is hot which comes from the IP cluster. The sensor is actually a P.O.S. and the circuit very basic even worthless.
