Check engine light

I unfortunately got my car backed into when I was in a parking lot and they busted out my back right taillight and bulb.....I forgot that it was busted out about two days later and took it threw a car wash....I heard a noise and then my check engine light went on, also my brake lights, turn signals, and day running lights still work, but my night headlights and rear lights do not work as well as my I guess dash lights...the one that illuminates the mph and such when driving at night. No codes are showing up.....so I am at a loss...I was thinking it might be the switch that is faulty..the one to turn the lights on, but it still works when I turn the brights on and the turn signals although I guess one is an up and down motion and to turn the lights on you turn the switch.....am I making any sense...

It appears you have to replace the tail light circuit board as it is shorting out.

It is yellow and my old mechanic said he wasn't getting any readings...should I try to take it to autozone or somewhere else to see if they can get anything?

I checked and they all looked intact.....:banghead: Is there other fuses other than the ones to the left of the steering wheel column?
