Mini Van Radio Swap ? JEEP, JAGUAR, MOPARS ?67Cowboy 10-13-2008, 06:10 PM We just purchased our first Mini-Van, the old 4x4 Suburban was just too thirsty for $5.00 a gallon !!! So now I've gotta learn how to work on computerized minivan :headshake ! It's a 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager LE 3.3 auto, and came with a nice Infinity* Casset stereo, but the ol'lady is well invested in CDs and since we live in Oregon now there are NO Country&Western Radio Stations here, so she is already complaining about the old casset style radio and she got rid of her tapes years ago:banghead:. I have ask around a bit and have read several boards including this one back to 2003 and haven't gotten any solid answers yet:confused:, so here is my question ??? ___ Will the radio out of other Mopars work in this '93 ??? I've read certain Jeep, Jaguar, Town&Country, Caravan etc... might work, and that would be a good choice to pick-up a good plug and play from Craig's List or the Pick-Your-Part, if I knew what to look for :sly:!!! I'd like to keep this thing stock looking and do a nice job whithout having to hack wires and wonder if I got the right instructions or not !!! Lists, Websites, other Boards with Tech Section or threads here that I missed would be great help : Thanks !!! peterjon1 10-13-2008, 11:12 PM Any Chrysler radio from maybe mid 80's until 1997 should work. In '98 the change was made to a rounder face. I have an AM/FM/cassette/cd (factory type) in my '97 van. I found that one on Ebay, but salvage yards should have them. I know I have seen that same radio in Jeep Grand Cherokees also. The Dakota and Jeep may have changed a year or 2 later. If the radio has the same basic appearance as yours, it should be plug and play. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
