The '02 TB is shutting off as described in the title. Not sure if it's related but it started after changing the oil yesterday. Drove three blocks and shut off at the stop sign. It started right back up but I needed to keep my foot on the gas to keep the rpm's up.

It thru a misfire/ignition management code PO1345. I did dump the oil in alittle faster than norm this time....could I have soaked the CPS with too much oil.

I did search previous posts and read where full synthetic seeped in the the CPS connectors and was causing an improper cam reading.

Also, I had the battery disconnected for a while, if that means anything, before the oil change while I disconnected the wiper motor connection. Did the pcm go dumb? Another prob...wipers jumping in rain-sens'g mode.

It seems to run fine when off-idle.

Thanks

Possible re -learn on the idle problelm, drive it under varying conditions for a few miles see what happens. A throttle body cleaning may be in order also, but that is just normal maintenance.

UPDATE:

Put a new cam sensor in this afternoon...no change, same condition. That would have been too easy.

Half a can of carb/TB cleaner and 1/3 of a can of seafoam thru the intake and seems to be back to normal. I don't remember it dropping down to 600rpm's at stop signs but it's smooth now.

Set a new code and went into reduced pwr mode in the process of running everything thru it though.

All seems to be good. Fingers crossed.

I too was duked by the dealers to changing the cam sensor even after telling them about the revolving issue. Well, now i'm curious if that carb cleaner and seafoam did the trick? If so, can you please give me more details on how to do it? I'm a newbie so where exactly is the intake?
Thanks for your time.
