2000 caravan, 2.4 litre, 3 speed, 84k.

In 3rd gear, after TC lockup, moderate grade and throttle, I am feel a bumping through the drivetrain. I thought it was a misfire initially, but it also seems as if the tranny is starting to downshift into second but stops. The sensation is akin to engine braking.

I have mopar fluid and filter on hand for a changeout. The throttle cable is snug and moves the valve lever freely. I have not fooled with band adjustments.
