I have a 97 lumina 3.1. I just did an engine swap and tranny swap. Now the speedo quit working. I already checked the speed sensor, it is working. What else could be causing this? Also, the check engine light comes on right after car is started, I don't know if this problem is linked to the speedo problem. Any ideas?

did you fix yor speedometer. Mine just stopped working where is the speed sensor on the tranny? I am not sure if I have a 3 spd or 4spd. My shift indicator has D 2 1. I don't see anything that says overdrive.
