heres the scoop. 97 rodeo 3.2, v6, 4x4, sohc. new/used motor installed due to head gasket coolant leak. now I did have a p0300 random misfire, a little sea foam and that is gone.... now I have a cylinder 1 misfire. here is what I already did...

new plugs and coil packs
cleaned egr
new pvc
checked for vacuum leaks

seems to run ok, outside of a little hesitation, the problem is I cant pass emissions with the mil on... now what????

Did you reset the MIL, or did it come back? What is the current code that it's giving you?

You changed all of the coil packs? Man that is expensive at $80-something a pop. Might be just a bad plug, but I'm going to guess it is related to the head gasket repair.
