The rear door on my 98 venture will not unlock with the remote or with a key . Does anyone have any ideas? Thank You..:banghead:

Not sure why the key won't work either, but try leaning into the back door while you try to unlock it--the idea is to take the stress off the lock so it has less force to overcome.
If that won't help you need to take the inside trim off while the door is closed so you can reach the lock by hand.

Been there, done that. You will need to pull the plastic door panel off, as much as you can, from the inside. You won't be able to fully release the panel as it goes around a bumper on the side of the hatch. Then you need to reach in the door and release the latch with a pick tool. Not easy to explain, and even more fun to do.
