Finished the chassis and interior on one of my favorite rally cars. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of colors because I could not find any reference details and Hasegawa's painting instructions are vague.

Thanks, and Thanks SheeneMachine for those pics, look like I got some right and some wrong. Hasegawa just says steel for the whole interior. I didn't even know what color that rear shelf was and I had to make a white decal base for the Lancia shield or it's outline wouldn't show up on the black base. It looks like the shelf should have been white. I 'll live with it the way it is.

extremely clean and those belts look excellent too. Are the extinguishers the ones in the kit? They look like turned alu ones in the pics - very nice indeed.

Thanks, my pics make the belts look pink but they are red cloth tape made by a German company called TESA. The extuinguishers were molded 1 piece with the interior. I cut them loose so I could shape them and paint them better. They first received a coat of Tamiya TS14 Gloss black Then I airbrushed Alclad Polished aluminum over that. The brake rotors are the kit plastic painted with Alclad Stainless Steel over a black base. Their stainless steel looks just right for the shiny surface of a steel brake rotor.

The decals are done(except wing and front spoiler). The Studio 27 decals colors are much better than the kits. The kit blues are too dark, the red is about the same though.

This is looking great. I have the S27 decal set too - they are much better. The ride height looks good - did you lower it??

I had to lower the ride height, it took allot of work. I have know idea why Hasegawa made it sit so high out of the box.

Nice build, especially with S27 decals
but did you see you did attach wrong the external side belt of each seat ? they are attached on the roll cage.
only the one to the inside is attached in the boot panel.

because these kits parts are the same than those also used in their 93 Acropolis repsol version...
no special parts trees in each model...
