My 95 tahoe acted as if the converter was clogging up. it began leaking exhaust from the exhaust manifold. I got a hammer, and while it was running, i beat the converter to break up the inside. it ran ok for two days, then clogged up totally. it is like the exhaust cant breathe. I had the cat removed, and it still seems like something is clogged. could the stuff from the converter have clogged up the muffler? please help....

Its definitely possible. I had a Cadilac that the cat broke up and all the pieces came to rest in the muffler. New exhaust and it was good as new!
