I purched a 97 eagle talon 420a 2.0 DOHC n/t 5 speed.recently with a busted timing belt, we replaced the head and belt, now that cars running the idle bounces all over everywhere was wondering if anyone knew whitch sensor would fix this problem? Also the location of that sensor, getting CEL codes 22 and 23 if that matters. Also if you turn on the air it bounces 10x as bad. it will bounce the idle around to the point it kills it. Havent drove the car to see if it will come out of it or not. Any advice would be appritiated, Thanks.

Ok so we have currently put 5 yes 5 idle air control valves on this, (all from junk yard cars, and 3 MAF (I believe thats what it is, its on the top passenger side of the intake) sensors and the idle is still bounces all over, Any suggestions on what sensor to try next? Or give me ways to test the other sensors? Any advice would be appritiated, and we have checked and checked again for a vacume leak and there is none. the timing is correct, has new plugs, TB has been removed and cleaned.

Also when the air/headlight are turned on the idle gets way way worse, also as odd as this sounds, if your not moving and just turn the steering wheel while its sitting there idling the idle goes nuts.

It seems to come and go itll be good for 10 minutes then itll start messing up again, also every great once in a while say your reved to 3500rpm when you let off the gas it will stay at 3500 rpm untill you turn the car off with the ignition.

Check front o2 sensor, crank sensor, cam sensor, TPS. Could even be the ECU.
