My 1974 LJ Torana05-BROCKY-05 03-15-2003, 04:08 AM Check out this torana i brought for $1000AUD. I am rebuilding it so feel free for comments. http://chop-it-up.com/gallery/albums/userpics/ljtoranas.JPG blazed on haze :\ 03-30-2003, 01:21 AM a mate of mine's got one of these, your one i presume is a 2.85 litre inline-6? thy're not bad. very reliable when in good condition and look/sound awesome when a powerfull v8 is dropped beneath the hood :) in my opinion a great classic car that can become a mean street machine with enough displacement and $$ behind it 05-BROCKY-05 03-30-2003, 03:57 AM Yeh you are completely correct it is a 2.85L inline 6, mine is reco so it goes pretty hard. I am actually in the process of planning a 253 modification with 308 internals as the RTA said i cant go bigger than a 253. I have also decided on the colour i am painting the car, the original plan was for Sky Blue, but i have decided on a colour called PPG Pelican Blue, if you check out the april issue of street machine there is a VL Commodore with walkinshaw bodykit and Gen III engine, it is painted in it. blazed on haze :\ 04-02-2003, 10:03 PM Originally posted by 05-BROCKY-05 Yeh you are completely correct it is a 2.85L inline 6, mine is reco so it goes pretty hard.
