DPFE Sensor

Where exactly is this sensor? Does someone have pictures? The picture I have of the sensor doesn't look like what I'm seeing on my car. I think the sensor is right above the transmission dipstick, if this is the case then the design on the new sensor is different. The picture I have from Autozone shows a rectangular black plastic with a plug at one end and two tubes coming out of the front. The tubes are labeled REF and HI but they come out sideways instead of straight out the front like the old sensor. It is also mounted vertically but the new one looks like you install it horizontally. I'm really confused about this. Help me please..

This part has been through many updates and is quite possible not the same in appearance as the original. If you purchesed from the dealer they more than likely gave you the correct one. If unsure you can call the parts guys to double check. Have the last 8 numbers of your VIN handy to make sure they have the correct vehicle. The one on your vehicle is silver in color and located pretty much where you said.

Here you go, it is at the top of chart, it is used for EGR control.

Thanks for the info you guys! I found the sensor and replaced it and cleaned the EGR channel under the throttle body. Man! was this dirty, it was so clogged it looked like it was full of grease. This has cleared the check engine light.
