Hissing could be the refrigerant leaking out.

The hissing sound right after you turn off the a/c is the high and low side pressures equalizing and is 100% normal. There is no place for sealers in a/c repair. If you have a leak find it and repair or replace the leaking parts Save the band-aids for minor cuts and burns and not for a/c repair.
