Hello. '03DC3.4TRD4X4 09-14-2003, 11:08 AM seriously? Send me $50 and I will send you detailed instructions. This can be done easily without taking the dash apart. It can be done on a temporary basis or a hidden swith can be wired in. You WILL lose your ABS when you switch it off. After switching back on, You will need to turn the motor off and effectively reset the computer before the ABS will work again. goliath11 09-16-2003, 04:20 PM This sounds illegal :nono: '03DC3.4TRD4X4 09-18-2003, 01:06 PM That might be because it is??!! goliath11 09-18-2003, 02:28 PM :headshake 90CRXZCSi 09-19-2003, 08:50 AM wont you lose your speedo? '03DC3.4TRD4X4 09-19-2003, 10:08 PM Of course! But you still have your tach and if you know what speed/gear your are in it is pretty easy to estimate. You lose other things as well, like cruise control, unless you have a manual trans. Nothing is free! micksdrunk 09-24-2003, 06:37 PM there should be a plug on the tranmission that how i do it on my tacoma its one right out in the open like about 3 wires inch in length Rusty1212 09-29-2003, 10:25 AM Hi, I don't know if either of these links will apply precisely to your vehicle/application, but I found them interesting and I thought that others here may also. http://www.nsmfinance.com/toyota/gobaby.htm http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43989&item=2435031445 Chuck micksdrunk 09-29-2003, 05:35 PM thanks rusty very intresting Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
