2005 expidition oil filter leak

Hi, when I change the oil filter on my 2005 expidition 5.4L, and I hand tighten it like I always do for any car that I change oil. This car will leak from the filter when the oil is under preasure, such as going up a hill. I have to tighten it with a rachet and sometimes it still will not stop. I took it to ford and they tightened it even more to stop the leak. Of course this is OK for them. They said that the seal and threads where all OK. Any thoughts on this issue.

My 1997 F-150 with the same size engine had two rubber hoses that connect to the filter housing. Have you checked for leaks at the fittings. Do you clean the base and litely oil the gasket. Also make sure you remove the old gasket.
Otherwise a trip to a scrapyard for another base is in order. I assume your using the correct filter.
