:eek7: Very sparratic. Acts like it ran out of gas. Sometimes I can restart while coasting in nuetral, other times I have to walk away for 10 mins. It happens a block away from home in the AM, or in the middle of the day on the freeway. In idle or at 2500 rpm. It seems eletrical, it never "coughs" just quits. There is nothing strange with the dislay panel. The fuel filter was replaced 6 mo's ago. I replaced it myself last month, after this problem started. While replacing it I found a pinched green wire (14 gage) under the fuel filter mounting bracket. This wire came with 2 other green wires (also 14 gage) from under the block (front pass. side) the three green wires are in there own split loom and go into a beige hard rubber/silicon tube (3" long) with only 2 wires coming out. One is green (10 gage) and goes into a wire harrness connector located right behind the fuel filter then it goes up to the Relay Box. The other wire (14 gage) (that was pinched by the fuel filter)(very scarry) :eek7: it goes back down under the block (pass side). I repaired the wires nevertheless and thought that would do it. It still quits once in a while, 3 or 4 times then runs fine. The longer I wait to re-start the more sure I am that it will. Does anybody have an idea on what I can check? Could it be something with the glow plugs? or are the just for starting?
