Hi everyone,
who can forget this race, Hamilton's first win and Sato driving like crazy with the little Super Aguri enroute to a 6th place

the kit is the Silverline SLK045

I've started by cleaning the body and opening up the vents and the tow hooks. alot of putty needs to be used on the body from my simple mistakes and some areas around the tow hook as it sort of like orange peel on the metal

the rear wing has also been opened, (I'm also planning on opening the front wing)

more updates later, I'm posting pics at the parents home as I do not have internet
my new camera works great, now just got to get a little photo studio and the model can really come to life

thanks for looking and please comment,
Steve

Nice start.
Looking forward to this build. The SA07 was a nice car, with a simple but beautiful livery.

small update, first shots in the photo booth.
suspension now going on (always nerve racking), exhuast also put on and carboned with Renaissance decals

seatbelt PE is from acustion, and seatbelt cloth is from DC models. only problem the cockpit has is the knobs on the steering wheel are upside down, my own error, but you'll not notice it if you don't pay attention. SMS carbon was also used to dress up the steering wheel

the test fit of the front wing.

thanks guys, (and for who gave the model a 5 star rating so far)

I have the areo parts ready for primer and spray red, so hopefully another update in a few days. I have also done the rear wing and complete, the wing is 99.5% decals

FYI for those who may not know, but this is 43rd scale. front and rear wings, along with the engine vents were opened to enhance the appearance of the real car.

Klutz, Tameo kits are normally alittle dirty, they are easy to clean though. thanks for the kind words, I'm trying to get better with each kit and this one so far has been one of eh better ones I have done

cheers,
Steve
