This is sort of a mini work in progress to be honest as I am well on the way with this one. Most of the main painting of body parts is complete and I'm just finishing off a few things here and there. The engine is pretty much together as well and the front monocoque area is well underway.Still plenty to do though, wheels and tyres, rear wing to finish, brakes.....the list goes on.
Here are a few pictures so far and I'll post more as I make progress.

Very nice clean build. The engine looks great and the paint job on the engine cover is incredible. Great job!

Very nice work Steve. Did you use the zero paints on this one also?

I don't know how you do it Steve, i really don't. that bodyshell is utter perfection, almost like liquid - beautiful.

Amazing work.

Well I've made quite a bit of progress since the first update. The car is almost finished, just needing the front wing end plates, the rear wing finishing, the mirrors and a few bolt heads and some touching up here and there. The cowling fits, although there is a small gap along the bottom where it meets the under tray.
I also added a figure of Ayrton Senna, by El Oso kits, but I still have to paint and fit the hands to it.Should soon be finished though, here's a few progress pictures.

I used Zero paints for the suit and the helmet. The decals on the helmet and suit were from MSM Creation. The visor was made from photographic negative film for the tinted appearance. The helmet was cleared with Zero 2K.I can't recommend the MSM decals enough. They went onto the helmets curves perfectly with no fuss at all, just needing a little Mr Mark Softer.

WOW......incredible job ! Do you know how I can get tape residue off my paint? The jerk at the hobby store said "this is the stuff you want". :screwy:

Try a little rubbing compound to remove the tape residue, should work.

Wow Steve - that is just fantastic mate.

All i'd do is get a coat of matt varnish on Ayrton's overalls and eliminate any sign of gloss or shine - no doubt you plane to do exactly that anyway !

Absolutely love it
