When i back up i get this sort of "clunk" noise. It could possibly be described as a "wrenching" but all i know is that it don't sound good. The car drives fine in drive so i'm assuming its possibly not as serious as it sounds but who knows. I think it may be the emergency brake because i had the same problem/ noise with one of my other cars. I'll probably post a video in the morning on youtube.

I think so. It doesn't sound like anything in the differential itself.
