I was wondering if any of you happen to know where I can get parts for my 1985 LeSabre?? She was hit back in January. She's a 2 door coupe. I need to be able to find a driver's side fender, inner fender wall, driver's side door, front bumper, and front fascia. I've been looking online to try and locate these parts, but I am not having much luck. I do not want to part with the car (I have owned it for the last 10 years). It's getting harder and harder to find salvage yards that have vehicles this old. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I restored my 85 Century about 10 years ago and got a lot of parts at the U-Pull-it in Phoenix. I hear you about there not being many 85 parts cars left as the crusher is hungry

The crusher is hungry because the price of scrap has skyrocketed in recent years. There are ads in our local paper from companies who will pay you from $250 on up plus a free tow for your junk vehicles, where just a few years ago they were paying $50 to $100.
Have you tries www.car-part.com ? You enter your vehicle info and the part you need into their search boxes and you get a list of the salvage yards in the sytem that show those parts in their inventory. Many times they list color and condition, and contact info and whether or not they ship parts. You can also refine the search to yards closer to where you live.
Another source for parts is a copy of Hemmings Motor News, which is a monthly publication usually found where magazines and periodicals are sold. They have both private and commercial ads for parts and services aimed at those who own older vehicles.
