need help with tercel... badly

this car has given me so much trouble... im not sure whats wrong with it... i bought if for real cheap to get me to school and work... its got a 3ac in it. 2wd. 5 spd... the engine will start cold then as it gets warm it will act as if the car isnt getting gas. liike its running out. ive rebuilt the carburator. replaced fuel filter, pump, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor and plug wires. ive got the bad gas out of the car from sitting and ive ran new gas with sea foam to clean it all out the lines etc. im young i want to be a machanic and i am really confused on what to do... the car still dont run.. any suggestions? email is nope_not_me2003@yahoo.com

SOunds like you've gone through all the normal stuff. Hope you gapped the plugs correctly. The only thing I haven't seen is an ignition timing check and checking the crank's #1 TDC versus the distributor's TDC @ #1. Then I'd check the crank versus the camshaft timing marks. If any of these are off, you'll have poor performance. Hope this helps!

You did good with your approach, as he said you went after the most common and logical solutions good work.

Have you checked your oxygen sensors?

Next culprits could be the PCV and/or the EGR valves. Sludge and carbon deposits can keep these from working. Clean if possible (The EGR is expensive), replace if necessary.

I have a 93 with a 3 sp. auto. I has having the same problem with mine. I replaced the ingitors and the problem went away.
