Ok fellas, I had too many problems with this car. Last week I was at a light and the harmonic balancer fell off! On top of that I was on my way to get the brakes fixed! Ok, I got both of those fixed, but now for some reason my car won't turn over. My mechanic was telling me to check the crank sensor near the harmonic balancer. I looked, but really I don't know exactly where it is. Also he asked me to check the fuses, which I did and they are all working. Where is the fuse for the fuel pump? And exactly where is the fuel pump on a 89 Cutlass Ciera? I need some help pronto!

Welcome to AF, lets start with what engine?

Sorry I am a newbie to this.

3.3 liter engine.

Like I stated we just changed the harmonic balancer last wk and I was wondering if the sensor was damaged would that prevent the car from starting?

The balancer may have damaged the crank sensor or hit it and bent the bracket way, if you have no spark and/or injector pulse, focus on the cps.

Everytime I try to take the bolt to the harmonic balancer off, it keeps turning! How do I make it stop so I can take the bolt off? Also, will the Crank Position Sensor cause my car not to start?

Yes it will not start if bad, check what I told you first, I use an impact gun, or remove the flywheel shield and block the ring gear on the fly wheel to hold the crank.
