Broken Bolt - Intake Manifold

Hello,
I have a 1998 Oldsmobile 88. I have replaced the upper manifold three times in 6 months. I found that the egr tube had a large crack and was letting air in and in some way this was melting the plastic manifold. I replaced the manifold last night.
The problem I had last night is that I broke a bolt off in the lower aluminum manifold. The bolt is brocken flush with nothing to grab at. The bolt I broke was located near the PCV Valve closer to the firewall.
How much trouble am I in? The area that the bolt is in isnt near the coolant passages but I worry about eventual air infiltration from the vaccuum. I may even have issue with the PCV valve.
I wouldnt have a problem with replacing the lower intake but the cost for the gaskets and then the parts would prevent me from doing it anytime soon.
I may take a drill to the hole in go straight thru the intake as there seems to be a lip. I can then put a nut and bolt on.
