Very nice start! I think that's the first build i see!?
I agree on the seat. Looks very clean. If only someone could do those decals with a rough fabric like surface, eh!?

great build of a great model...but your paintjob needs a lot of sandinf and polishing now. please don't cut corners here because the rest of the model is beautiful. making the paint look perfect is not hard only hard work :-)

Allan,
Beautiful and inspiring work for when I get to building mine someday. Keep it up!
Just a thought: is the orange-peel simply a result of the image magnification? In any case, it's really nothing that a bit of time and patience with a polishing set can't fix.
One question: what brand and shade of gold did you use for the engine?

Cheers,
Michael

Detail work looks simply terrific - how the fit of these new MFH kits?
I agree on the orange peel comment though, you need to give it a bit more elbow grease! Keep at it!

It's a beautiful building. What's sort of color paint have you used for the green color?

thanks, Gérald

Hiroboy mixed it for me based on the decals. Spot-on and highly recommended.

Congratulations on such a masterpiece Allan.
That would look so good alongside an Accurate Miniatures McLaren M8B.

Terrific job on a great car, Allan! Beautiful clean build on the engine and chassis.

Use Tamiya Compounds to polish out that paint texture.

BTW, how's the McLaren going? I have the AM kit; sounds like it might not be a good project.
