I just got a pretty sick 2008 300C and im trying to find a good and affordable car alarm with remote start, i found a few but i noticed they get pretty expensive, i came across this one alarm from asianwolf.com and it seems like its a pretty good one, but the price is way lower than other ones that compare to their fm 2009 v2.0, so does anyone have any suggestion, or know about this alarm? i might just go ahead and buy it but i need some feedback to make sure im getting a good one.

It already has one.Chrysler set it up with the transmission locking up if someone attempts to steal it and the horn blowing.I know someone with a Dodge Nitro with the same system, somebroke into and it locked the transmission up so the theif could not take off with it.It has to be reset with the DRB III if this happens.

Yep. The stock alarm setup isn't too bad really. THe only way to take the car is to have the keys or flatbed it away. As far as remote starters, DO NOT GET THAT SYSTEM YOU ARE LOOKING AT!!! There's a good reason why it's priced next to nothing. Also, you'll need a CANBUS interface to get things to work properly and I'm sure that system you saw doesn't support that. Check out www.scytek.net or www.compustar.com Those 2 have the best bang for the buck. I've sold and installed 100's of each and both seem to work pretty well. This bypass from Fortin works well with either company and will actually plug right into the Compustar unit. http://ifar.ca/en/products/can_bus_kits/can-sl2/?year=2008&make=10&model=684

I don't recomend you doing this install yourself and be hard pressed to by something off the net to have a local guy do the install. At that point, you'd be far ahead buying what they have in stock since they are familiar with their stuff.
