I have a 2000 Windstar 3.8 with a freon leak at one of my rear refrigerant lines at the point where it starts its way across the bottom of the car. Has anyone ever replaced one? Thanks

If it is aluminum 3/8" line- I use swageloks -- or an inline filter-- just cut out the bad section and replace with either-- a whole lot less work than replacing the entire line- and less costs.....

Thanks for the fast reply, I use swagelock fittings at work. Where can you get swagelock fittings? (other than from work, haha)

They are usually on Ebay-- or you can google swagelok for a dealer near you-- but most make you buy a whole box full.. I got mine from work...

they are made for specific metals they are sealing-
