S60R Fuel Grade Typeaesparks94 08-18-2008, 07:46 PM Hello, Just a quick question. What fuel grade should I be using in my 2004 S60R? I ask because I bought it used and I did not recieve any user manuals and I am not seeing the fuel grade anywhere. I am assuming that I have to use premium 91 octane but if I can drop it down to save some money I would not mind doing so. Thanks in advance. I am pretty sure if the car required premium, it would be marked on the fuel lid or on the dash somewhere. irr7 11-13-2009, 10:37 PM You should use minimum 91 Octane, this engine does not like anything less, I use Sunoco 94 Octane, I know it is expensive but a much cleaner burn and more HP. irr7 11-13-2009, 10:50 PM Hello, Just a quick question.
