I am trying to find out how to remove the rear lamp assembly on my Ford Escort L 1995 as someone drove into the back of it and has smashed it. i have replaced all neccessary bulbs, but need to replace the assembly asap before I get stopped by the Police!

Thanks

If you are working on a hatchback, remove the access cover in the rear of the cargo area.
If you are working on a sedan remove the trunk rear trim panel.
If you are working on a wagon remove the screws and take off the light assembly.

The light assembly is held in there by nuts on the back of the unit. Take the nuts off and pull the light assembly back to the rear of the vehicle.

Excellent thanks, tried it last night and took 10 minutes! Another string to the bow
