I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. 3800 Series II n/a, all stock. What is the rev limiter set on the stock computer?

The rev limiter aka fuel cutoff is set for 4050 rpms. Same rpms when doing the case learn.

Using this scenario,
Car in 1st gear, running flat out, at what RPM would the ECU hit the rev limiter or fuel cut out?

Basically, what is the 'redline' on a 3800 n/a?

Terminology is important to get the right answer. The rev limiter limits engine rpms to 4050 rpms when in PARK or NEUTRAL to protect the engine. As far as programmed shift points in each gear in automatic around 5800 rpms if you are stock without a modded PCM module. Observed redline is 6000 rpms but you should be able to rev up to that in manual shifting or with a typical re-programmed PCM module in automatic without worrying about manual shifting. I would not do it too often because valve float starts ocurring above 6K rpms and the engine really is not producing any useable power at that rpm range. It falls off early. I'd have to check to see what the stock PCM is set for on cutout as far as an exact figure.
