DTC reset and drive cycle?

I keep having the P0430 code and it's time for an emissions test.
I have a DTC reader/reset capable and I have done this many times.
My question is, when you reset the DTC so the light goes off, does it also reset the ODB-II so that I have to complete another "Drive Cycle" so that it passes emissions?
I had it tested today and it failed because it said the ODB-II "Wasn't ready".
I don't drive it much anymore and had the battery disconnected a few weeks ago. I would have thought it would have completed a drive cycle before now!
Thanks!

The emissions monitors are reset any time codes are cleared, not all conditions for the drive cycle are met during every day driving, do a google or site search for GM drive cycle info.

I forgot to mention that I cleared the code the day before I went in for the test and didn't drive it much in between.
I did find the GM drive cycle info.
I would have done it today after it failed, but the DC requires a "cold" start, etc.
Thanks for the quick answer

I found out about the O2 sensor Anti-Fouler mod.
I did this and now no more light.
Passed Emisions with flying colors!
