Well I found it! or should I say my son inlaw found it!
After an hour of being contored in the invered lotus position:mad:
He found it (not by or on the steering colmn) but DEEP along the left inner dash wall above the parking break assy, had to pull the wires to even get it out and let it dangle to disconnect the wires, could not EVEN get it back where it originally was, just tucked it up outa the way!

Anyway thought I would share with others:smokin:

And just courious if anybody else here has had a leak in the trunk?
I think I got ours fixed?
Ended up appling silicone at the rear window bottom seal.

I hear you about that flasher relay! It's as if they used that relay as a starting point and built the car around it. :screwy:
When I replaced mine with another designed for the load of additional trailer lights, my hand was all cut up by the time it was done.

I too have seen moisture in my trunk. The carpet under the rubber mat has been moist, but for the life of me, I can't see where it is coming from.
I'll have to check that area you sealed.
