1997 blazer won't startlovemypets5 08-07-2008, 02:52 PM I have a 97 blazer, 4 door with 110k miles. When I am driving it, it occassionally dies on me. Sometimes it will start back up and sometimes it won't. There are times when I try to start it the lights on the dash board will not light up, but the radio turns on and I can't electronically roll down my windows, but the truck will not start. I can keep turning the key and it still won't start, but other times I can get in it and it fires right up! It's been doing this for about 2 months now, but recently it has becomes worse. Can you please help me???? mike2004tct 08-07-2008, 10:05 PM Sounds like the symptoms I had when my Ignition switch wire harness failed. Go up to the "how to" section, and search for a thread titled "Igniton switch failure", and "ignition switch replacement" This is a common problem on '97s. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
