for some reason my breaks keep locking up on me when its really hot outside and on the road for 45 mins or so, any ideas what would be doing causing that

Unless you have anti lock brake problems if this is the problem pull the fuse for a test if it stops get it repaired.
Usually the slides on the caliper get dirty and hang up. The rubber ring in the caliper stretches and retracts the piston. In this case buy a pair of rebuilt front calipers and clean all slides. Then bleed and refill with new brake fluid.
Usually only one will lock up and you can see the rotor heat up. If it is all four wheels reply back.

if all 4 of them lock up your in some serious trouble and your going to one heck of a bill if you don't do it yourself or have a macanic as a friend.
