Do you know what transmission you have in this car. Basically does it have linkage like an AOD or electric shift solenoids.
My 1997 F-150 had an E40D and I dropped the pan and changed the solenoids. My T-Bird had a AOD but it was older. They had plastic bushings for the shift linkage next to the accelerator cable which worn. They used to go bad on older CV.
Try pushing in the button on the shift arm and see if its your torque converter
engaging.

This vehicle should have a 4R70W transmission. It shifts by solenoids. If it has not had the transmission fluid changed, I would start there. Even though it only has 16K, the years also take toll on the fluid and filter.

Sorry I forgot to mention It's good some days like today, But sometimes it acts that way I explained, I'm getting no shudder or slipping. THANKS FOR THE HELP I think It's an AOD tranny POLICE INTERCEPTOR.

We have used transmission additives to reduce the shudder that the torque converter will have. I would have the entire transmission fluid flushed out. If you have a shudder at shift points, flushing is the easiest way to cure that. Let us know.
