2008 Malibu tire pressure.

How much tire pressure should I put into my tires? On the wheel is says max 44 PSI on the car is says max cold 30 PSI.

The reason I am asking is because my ride seems a bit rough for a brand new car.

Have you heard many complaints about this car being rough with 17" wheels?

They will ride harder as they are low profile, which affords less side wall to help absorb road shock.

Well, If they are aftermarket 35psi if factory check on the driver side open door and check around the door marker and check if it say what pressure recommend. or driver side passanger door .

There would be several opinions on this. I'll give you mine. Running the tires with less pressure can definately improve the ride especially the fine bumps. I would tend to go according to the recommendations supplied with the car. The specs on the tires are there as a guideline, however the tire manufacturer likely did not know the weight or type of vehicle the tire would be installed on. The same tire may fit on several different vehicles. Tire wear can also be a factor. If the tires wear out more in the center, the tire pressure is too high. If they wear off on both outside edges, that can mean they are underinflated.I hope you find this helpful.

ALWAYS go with the vehicle recommended pressure. Too low a pressure will result in over heating the tire and premature (and possibly catastrophic) tire failure. Too much pressure can result in handling problems. Remember Ford Explorers flipping due to incorrect tire pressures?
