PegasoChris 10-18-2001, 02:36 PM They made about 100 cars in the 50's and 60's. They werent profitable, but they made this Spanish truck company look pretty neat. They could be had with Pegaso's own DOHC 32 valve V8, with up to 360hp. Pretty good, IMO.:) If you want to know more, just ask:) Heep 10-18-2001, 08:20 PM The cars were claimed to be the fastest in the world back in their day, with a top speed of 156 mph. Apparently, in 1990, Pegaso announced that they would build a short run of new cars based on the old ones, but with a DOHC 4L V-8. I really don't know if they materialized or not.... Chris 10-19-2001, 04:20 PM I doubt it. If so, I wish to learn more. It is also interesting to know that Pegaso's never had that great a racing career, despite their excelence. They tried a bit too, but it never materialized. A shame. gzola 12-11-2001, 04:55 PM A limited run was made for Pegaso with Body by International Automotive Design in the UK. The car was reengineered with a 3.9L Rover V8 and Alfa mechanicals. Stevo2 03-06-2002, 04:22 AM Here's some interesting links.
