2001 Jimmy 185,000 4.3 aut... It won't go into park the truck still rolls..and won't start unless i shift it to nutral...any ideas.?..is there an adjustment?

Yes there is a adjustment on the shift cable at the transmission linkage.
Also check the cable bracket and shift lever or being lose.
Is there a lot of slack at the shift lever?
