Those anyone know what socket is needed to pull the camshaft sprocket nut off of a 93' lesabre??? Sometimes I wish I were too dumb to attempt fixing my own car, and smart enough to make enough money to pay a mechanic.

Do you have it apart? Should be 15mm, not positive though, what is the problem, fit a socket when it is disassembled.

I tried a 1 1/16" socket and it was to small

Ok, didn't realize that it was that large, measure the bolt with a caliper and convert to metric then buy or borrow a socket. Divide the fractional size, say it is 1.25 inches, by .040, that is the metric size. Or 32MM.

32mm sounds about right for the harmonic balancer bolt. Is that what you are trying to find a socket for? As Max said, the timing set (cam gear) bolts "should be 15mm, not positive though".

It was a 1 1/8" socket

Can someone tell me what these pieces went to. I found them inside the timing cover.
