hello, I have a 2001 LS and the abs light is on all the time, i figured it was probebly just a sensor, but also i noticed today that when i'm going about 60 mph pr over it tends to stutter a bit, like something is slipping. Anyone know what the problem could be? Im really hoping its not the tranny...

check for frayed sensor wires if the stutter if you can feel it in the wheel it might be warped roters

i'd say your tires are out of round or they need balanced. try rotating them if you don't want take it and get them spun ballanced. if your run your hand across tread you might feel sum cupping or inside or out side your tire probably camber and toe is off? you had it aligned latley? you gota keep that air pressure right at all times don't by what the tires say go what the manufacter go's by.get better gas milege and tires where right..

The ABS sensor is part of the front bearings that fail on most malibus. Your bearings are probably going and it's causing issues with the sensor.
