RIP my escort gone foreverchevyn0va1 07-27-2008, 06:26 PM http://lh3.ggpht.com/chevyn0va1/SIes5dB2VAI/AAAAAAAAFBM/SHY_Xp9uf1Q/Image001.jpg?imgmax=512Here in RI July 23rd we had one of those once in a lifetime storms around here. Hail rain small tornado. I less then 15 minutes the roads had much rain to much for the drains to handle. My car was sucked in and drowned in one such puddle/pond. I was less then 5 miles from home and when I left the house it wasn't raining yet. Thankfully, my Children were ok and got to high ground. I was the first to say I no way wanted a ford and not an escort. I seen this 1999 2.0 sohc 5 speed and like it. I grew to like this car more and more and it was good to me never broke down once.(after a computer problem in the begining) I bought it used for 2,000.00 with 77k miles. I owned it for 4 years and had 123k. rhandwor 07-27-2008, 09:34 PM Does your insurance total a car like this so many places are getting storms I was wondering what they do? zzyzzx2 08-01-2008, 02:52 PM It will buff right out! Davescort97 08-02-2008, 04:01 AM Too bad about your Escort. I remember your posts about how to remove and replace the radio and I remember your post about putting a ram cold air intake on it, too. Thanks for the update. What a waste. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
