What year and engine and mileage and what weight and kind oil are you using?
How hot was the engine?
Check oil level and oil condition for gas in it.
How many miles on oil and filter?
What kind of oil filter are you using?
What is you actuall oil pressure with a manual test gauge at idle and at 2K rpm.

Also Hunt up where the gas smell is coming from.
On oil pressure put a manual oil pressure test gauge on it and check actual oil pressure.

98 - 145k - v6 - 2wd -

new intake gasket all new filters oil gets changed every 3k miles ... been a very strong truck .. had the fuel fump replaced about 3 months ago...
everything is done by my brothers shop so its trusted ....

when fuel pressure guage reads like it does in the pic it still drives fine .. picks up right when i accelerate .. is that normal ??

ive just never seen one sit so low

You can not trust a electric gauge.
Get a manual test gauge one it and see what the actual pressure is.
If it reads normal with a test gauge and low on dash gauge check the oil sending unit.
Let us know what it test with a test gauge on it.
