I had a similar issue but also the right indicator didn't work. Option is buy a new one ($280) or do what I did, take it apart and you will find the copper contact has become fatigued. Just bend it back down. A little sanding of all the contacts while you're there is a good idea. Now to the real meat. Assuming you don't have an air-bag, pull the horn cover whereupon you will see a large nut.Loosen but don't remove.(don't want wheel smacking you in face) Then get a wheel puller from local parts store (can be rented) and pop the wheel, then remove the nut.(Will seem like it's never going to pop) The switch is exposed. If you have an air bag no biggie. Disconnect you battery and let sit for a few hours. Remove 4 screws behind horn pad and pull gently. You will see 2 wires,(horn-airbag) disconnect both. Since you disconnected the battery you may want to retrain the ECM. Find that info by searching forum. Good luck vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
