Add fuel!

If those are WOT logs, you are risking damage to motor with those knock counts.

Does the logger see knock free-revving? Do you know the condition of the knock sensor? What are your AFC settings (HI/LOW/ and cutover)

i did a boost leak test yesterday and found major leaks all around the t body i mean so bad it would hold 10psi of boost for like 5sec. max.

yes the logger sees knock free reving like 24 counts at certain rpms that was before the leaks were fixed, just fixed the leaks hopfully and waiting for the gasket sealent to dry. i mean from the t body elbo to the connection from tbody to intake and even the biss was so bad you couldn't even keep your finger on it during the test.

i reset everything 12psi boost,afc reset,and timing so once everything dries i'll go for a run and keep you posted. thanks

also the knock sensor i had out and were it touches the block its gummy, so is it bad or when that gummy crap starts coming out the sides its bad?

If it's leaking goo, it's bad. You'll see it running down the block.

ok then it should be good no leaking down the block or even around the sensor.

my fpr: just looked at vfaqs also and they said at idle or under vac. my fuel pressure should be at 27ish and that should make it around the 36.3 mark at 0psi. so at idle right now i have it at 28psi(was at 40psi under vac.) is this right?but now the vac. guage is fluttering between 10vac. and 14vac. at idle.

got carb. cleaner and sprayed every vac. line i could reach and nothing no change in idle or anything.it didnt flutter at 1500rpm but now that im back to 800rpm it flutters.when i tap the gas and let off it goes to 22vac. steady for a sec then when the idle goes all the way to the 780 800rpm range it flutters.

my compression is 160 across all four cylinders.

could the whole fpr situation be apart of the bogging in mid rpm?

FPR: 37psi with the vac line disconnected and plugged with your finger.

With the odd vac readings, I suspect you have a leak.

throttle body shaft seals leaking(the accel. cable spring side mostly) only holds 10psi then leaks out in 5 sec max. ordered the shaft seals and pulling the throttle body today.

also i smell fuel i think my injector seals are leaking but there not at idle and free reving(or cant see or fill any fuel around the seals), just smell fuel real bad and now if it sits more than 20min. or so it has a hard time starting like its fludded and takes like 10 full revolution cranks to start, with that said on the logger readings my FTRL readings always stay at 96.8% and will not change when adding or subtracting fuel from my afc neo,also the FTRM stay at 100% and FTRH stay at 89.0% but the FTO2's change when adding and subtracting fuel so i no the afc is working and i do wait awhile to see if they change with no avail,any suggestions?

no matter how much fuel i put in the system (via afc) the FTO2's are saying im running lean as hell for example: 3468rpm,tps at 9.3%,o2-r 0.09v,KNOCK 0 counts,INJD 3.9%,TIMA hit 40*,and FTO2's hit 167.1%(way lean) i added fuel lots of fuel with same results.

i no when tunning with a logger you want to keep the fuel trims as close to 100% but they should move when changing the trims on the afc but they stay at those readings no matter what (the fuel trims on logger). what could cause this?

like i said when i add fuel with the afc the FTO2'S change thow and i try to keep them around 90 to 110%,but they always creep way past.(im tunning at 15psi now to)on 550cc's ive added in the plus range on the afc and with 15psi i shouldnt even have to be in the plus range and in the plus range why so lean?

compression is 160 across,new plugs(ngk6es .28 gap)and wires,timming floats between +3 and +5 degrees past BTDC,o2's cycle between .0 and .7 at idle,not throwing a CEL,hitting hella knock while free reving or boosting and dont think its phantom knock but dont no cause knock comes at all different rpms,checked for vac. leaks and none,does have a slight lifter tick but goes away(well to were i cant here it)when warmed up.

can anyone help?tryed to explain as well as i could,but ask me anything.

thanks guys, this car has so much potentual its an early 1g made in jan. of 91 so its one of the first 1g to come off the market,flip up head lights.paid 1700$ for it put in about the same amount so far in parts, i do all the work myself.first dsm ever and wont go back to anything else no matter how much problems this car gives me lol, yes i got the bug.
