i found an used car to buy, but i can't register it because i don't have an us driver licence so i can't insure it. does anyone know how can i register a car in my situation? i also applyed for the social security number, but it takes a while 'til it comes, and for the moment i don't have it. i'm not from us, just visiting for the summer, planning to buy a car, use it for 2 months and then sell it... so please, i need some help from people who really know the laws and the insurance companies policies. thx a lot

forgot to mention it, i have a driver licence from my home-country, Romania, wich is accepted in the us..

Any friends or family members who will allow you to put the vehicle and insurance in their name? It will have to be someone who you trust and someone who trusts you!
