94 Tercel missing on 2 cylinders.....

I owe a 94 tercel and have had issue with stumbling, poor idle, stalling, etc. I have replaced, ignition coil, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, etc. Well I pulled the plug wires on cylinders 1 and 4 the other day and noticed NO differinece. Pulling 2 or 3 killed the engine. That being said I assume its not firing either cylinder 1 or 4. There was spark arching out of the boot when pulled and set against blcok so I know I am getting spark. Managed not to shocked myself thankfully. I swapped injectors 3 and 1 to see if there was a problem with injuectors and no difference so I think its safe to say I am getting fuel too at least at cylinder 1, 2, and 3 anyways. The firing order on this engine is 1,3,4,2 I believe. Seems strange that 1 and 4 opposites end of block and 180 degrees outta phase more or less would be out. I have yet to do a compression check, but again I wouldn't think they both would be shot. I plan to check compression over the upcoming holiday break. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Could timing of spark and fuel somehow only be off on those to cylinders? Could it be off enough to not fire? One more thing, there are no CEL involving missfire. I get the occasional Code 25: Lean Mixture.......replace an O2 sensor to by the way. Thanks.
