Just got a 1999 300M. Good thing I got a deal...one cylinder does NOT fire. What could be the cause of this? How would you fix it? And how expensive would it be? Thanks!!!

Either a bad plug, bad wire or bad coilpack.

Pull plugs and check how it looks. Should be some tell-tale signs on the plug itself.

My second choice is a coil pack. I don't know how to easily check that, but others may know easily.

Individual coils. The coilpacks run around $50 each, maybe more. It has been a while since I priced them.

Changing out the coilpack is not difficult. By the way, do you throw off any codes?
