me and my friend were cruisin in his del sol he has a gsr swap with i/h/e and were with our other friends but they were in the zx2 sport coupe with intake so we catch a light and we just burn the shyt outta them it wasent even funny pulled like 5-6 cars and just let off

then we see this roush mustang rollin around so we go and see if it was really a roush or just sportin the tags...sure enough it was a roush my friend droped it in 2nd and the roush just pulled like 3 cars before it had to slow down cause of a car...we seen him at the stop light and he said he was in 4th and he just punched it.....so we tell him his ride is hott and go home

I think those things must be really muffled down or something. I saw one like 2 days ago. It was in my rear view mirror, I noticed that the front lip was different. Then it pulled up beside me and I saw the side-exit exhaust and the Roush badging. But I couldn't hear the car at all. Granted we were just cruising along at like 40mph but still, I expected it to be a bit louder sounding.

i wish they were louder, they are sexy

Now Self... you've gotta realise the Z has nuts... so it drowns out all that is unworthy. So of course you couldnt hear him... hehe.

i have always thought the roush exhausts were quiet. like when they them on some of the F-150's, we had the guy start one up at a dealership and i was dissapointed. I figured it would have a somewhat agressive sound

i thought the 03 cobra was relatively quiet when i heard it too

Hahah, yea I guess you're right:D I was in the '96 though, but even it's pretty damn loud. SLP Loudmouth exhaust is da bestest eva!:D

hes gonna run it in summer, he still has some learning to do with it, he knows he cant drive it to its full capabilities yet im sure he will get better by summer

Those Roush are quite the sweet setup. They seem to use a pretty quiet exhaust, I have also noted the lack orf rumble. The 03 cobras are quiet untill they stomp on it, then all you can hear is supercharger whine.

arent the roushes supercharged or....all motor? not too fond of this mustang :confused:

It depends on what stage you buy. The basic stage is just a body kit, suspension and maybe some underdrive pullies. The top of the line stage is supercharged.

hur hur hur good one there bud this del sol is fast, maybe not as fast as your car, but you can talk to hybridsol if you wanna see a fast del sol that will give you competition

Yea I'm currently looking at a 2001 Roush, but it's a v6...and I dont know if its going to pack a punch of power that i want. Does anybody know how many horses a 01 v6 Roush has? Cobra <(> <)>

im not an expert on mustangs or anything but im sure if it was a v6 it would just be a looks package and maybe like an exhaust and k&n filter or something and it would still be slow :lol2:
