Whenever I use my wipes on mist, or any itermittent speed, they skip around randomly. They'll go up part way and stop for a second, them move to the top and stop for a bit, and do the same going down (give or take, as I said it's random).

I'm guessing it's the relay, but I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered this and knows a definite fix before I start changing stuff out.

Could be a loose motor or the plug is dirty/bad or loose(ground) , here is a link with some pics on the rermoval.

If you've replaced the wipers and it's still skipping, you're probly going to have to inspect the works to find out what's going wrong.

I just fixed mine, made it worse at first when I took the board apart that was attached to the wiper motor to try and fix it. I got a whole new wiper assembly for 100$ after that, I guess the electronics on it screws up, and it goes wacky, the motor is confused about the stop spot etc.... You WILL need a wiper puller to make your job much easier or possible at all! Don't put any pressure on the edge of your windshield or snap crackle pop!

Yeah it seems Aleros are more prone for the circuits malfunction out there, not seen many Grand Ams with this issue.

And the wiper arms are on there pretty tight !
Ive seen cracked winshields and cracked cowels from poeple trying to pry them off wrong.
