Heater Control Illumination

Heater Control System does not illuminate anymore. I worked fine until I pulled it out. I pulled it out to connect my anntenna wire after a radio transplant. I put it all back together and it does not illuminate anymore. I have pulled it out, cleaned all contacts and reinserted with no luck. I gently banged on the front and then only one lit up, which I found very strange. It all lit up except for one the day before. Everything else works just fine. Does anybody know which contract on the back powers the illumination? So I could possibly hotwire it. Thanks

Mine did the same thing. I found one in a wrecking yard for $5. I still have the old one, so I'd be interested in a fix also.
On mine the yellow would light up when it was in use, just not the light that shows what it was.
Mine is a 1997. It only has 4 different fan settings (very lame). A friends 2000 has 16-18 (lost count). I like that one better. I also wonder if I could hook up a 2000 in a 97. They look the same from the front.
